In Impetus is an acting school in Lisbon, Portugal stablished in 1998. As it celebrated 25 years, the school reached out to me to reposition its brand, create a commemorative anniversary seal, and design social media templates.
Representing the light that floods the stage and puts the actor in evidence, the yellow symbol on a black background works as a pivot that anchors the text around it. Meanwhile, the color palette brings in other hues, adding life and a modern feel to the compositions.
The symbol takes on different roles: a line running across an image, a backdrop that sets the stage for the text, or a lens that shifts the color.
